Book review: Sorcery at Caesars

This is a book that I’m naturally inclined to like as it takes a tack that I’m happy to argue at length over any time – that Sugar Ray Leonard’s ‘victory’ over Marvelous Marvin Hagler was all smoke and mirrors, and that the great middleweight champion’s legacy and life were tarnished by it.

Builds a compelling argument that the image Leonard had projected throughout his entire career played its part in securing this ‘daylight robbery’.
